NotesThen Play on was Fleetwood Mac's 1969 debut on the Reprise label. They were already a popular blues band in 1969 when they released Then Play On, the group's stellar third studio album. It was the first with guitarist-songwriter Danny Kirwan and ultimately it's last with founding member Peter Green. The album's powerful mix of blues and rock includes standout tracks like "Rattlesnake Shake," "Searching for Madge" and "Coming Your Way." the Beatles acknowledged this album had a big influence on their Abbey Road swan song album.

the real Fleetwood Mac
this is the last album featuring Peter Green,the man who created Fleetwood Mac so it's special just for that reason.Besides that it's the original band as they were meant to be and not the junk outfit they later became. If you want to hear the real thing buy Then Play On.

This is what was Fleetwood Mac originally sounded like BEFORE they went commercial - English-style blues! I love it! If you're a blues fan, you will too!

BEST of the FLEETWOOD MAC eras.
It's one of the BEST FLEETWOOD MAC albums back in the day when it was Peter GReens Fleetwood Mac and it was a British BLUES band.
