great value with excellent features
this as purchased as an xmas present have had no time to evaluate it yet looking forward to run in the new year but nowing hornby products i don't see a problem

Smooth runner
Needed tweaks to a few cv values and also removed too much grease from gears and axles and now it runs very smoothly.

The Duke has got what it takes.

Quality product from a quality supplier
All model rail enthusiasts know of the name Hornby and this model is another quality model produced under their TTS sound brand. In my own collection I have several locomotives of this type and have found them to be of excellent value. I would definitely recommend this item.
