mediocre at best
I have two of these. The range is very short, much shorter than the hand remote. Maybe they do that so you have to buy one for every room, which leads to my second issue that its very expensive for what it does. It also seems to send out the signal too briefly as most of the time one of the blinds misses it. They really need to pulse the signal out 3 times or of longer duration or some such. On the upside the user interface is decent and it was pretty easy to set up. Lacks features that would make it useful
The product does not do what would be expected of a Wifi-to-RTS interface - that being 1) allow the connected device(s) to be controlled while away from home. And, 2) provide status to see whether the controlled device is up or down. Other smart controllers that I have that control garage doors, door locks, etc. all provide the ability to open/close/check status from anywhere as long as the phone app has a connection to the internet. The MyLink app only works when it is on the same home network as the MyLink device. So, effectively it is a really expensive backup remote. Not worth it!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Gotta have it for your smart home
Great product standalone - setup was easy - it will interface with Alexa but Alexa has a hard time - not sure where the problem is but don't expect anything close to seamless for the Alexa/MyLink interface. Definitely buy it for itself - don't buy it because Alexa can control it. My wife was rolling on the floor in hysterics after I fought with it for what seemed like hours. I finally got Alexa to open and close my new awning by voice but it wasn't pretty or fun. Getting Alexa to run the MyLink scenes was a waste of energy. Works great with easy install!!
Very easy to install and link to my existing outdoor shades. The only thing that took a couple trial and errors was the set up within the app to program the ups and downs. User error on my part. Highly recommend!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

It works sometimes
I am very disappointed. When it works and that is less then half the time, it is slow to respond. It is located within 10 feet of the access point (Unifi AP-AC pro) and less then 15 feet from the screens so signal strength should not be a problem. I control about everything in my home from the sprinkler system to the doors and hot tub and everything in between. Difficult to get configured and won't upgrade
The point of buying this was to use Alexa to control my outdoor awning shades. After much thrashing, I now have the shades and actions set up, and can use them via the app. After repeated attempts, I have not been able to update the code,even with the device within a few feet of my router. Easy way to automate raising and lowering shades.
It work as intended. I have established a program to automatically raise and lower the shades at a specific time. I had some issues with setting it up on apple iPhone 11. I contacted customer support and they informed me that there are some issues with compatibility with new IPhone products. Great functionality but not cheap.

Very bad user experience using Alexa
Works only via the Alexa skill (NOT recognized as a simple device to use). So you cannot create routines not use it “normally”, only using pre-defined commands and complicated sentences for the skill. Version 2.0 much improved over Legacy model
