Genuine Apple product if the quality is anything to go by
I had expected the quality to be poor with brittle cable sleeve, so was surprised that the quality was as apple usually is

Better than nothing, as an extra, when the computer is used in two separate rooms
I have not tested it. I would have liked to see the number I have of "A1466" on the item.
