Capcom's survival horror series comes to PS4 with upgraded graphics, all previously released DLC, and a new difficulty level in Resident Evil 5. As in the acclaimed Resident Evil 4, an up-close, over-the-shoulder perspective allows players to see the heroes in action. Accessible aiming controls and fluid graphics make for quick, intuitive weapon use. Creepy settings, un-human enemies, and keen pacing create experiences of tense exploration, startling surprise, and overwhelmingly outnumbered desperation.<br><br>The story takes place in Africa, in the fictional desert country of Kijuju. The game is set about a ten years after the events of the original Resident Evil, and features the original game's character Chris Redfield in the lead role. He is accompanied by a skilled mercenary named Sheva Alomar. The two make a good team, and many of the most challenging situations in the game are best overcome with teamwork. When one of the two characters has been subdued or wounded, the other can "help" or "heal" with the press of a button. Other circumstances call for particular solutions, such as one player drawing enemies out of cover while the other picks them off with rifle shots from a safer location.<br><br>Both characters are agents of an international group known as the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (or BSAA), on a mission to investigate the origins of the nefarious Tyrant virus, variants of which have been responsible for turning ordinary people and animals into mindless, zombie-like killing machines throughout the Resident Evil series. The game's levels are a mix of spooky, scripted runs and open-ended battles that develop dynamically. Although facing surprise attacks and overwhelming odds, a run-and-gun approach won't last; it takes situational tactics and good ammo management to make it through each stage. Online multiplayer co-op is available throughout the game, in which one player controls Chris and the other controls Sheva.

    The packaging was great and the item description was accurate. Item arrived in original packaging and pre sealed. Just as if it was bought at a retail store. It was great that the seller also offered a bottom accepting price beside the posting price. Tracking was also included at no additional charge. I tested the game in the Wii U and it booted up with no problem. I would recommend this seller after just one purchase.

    Great action game terrible Resident Evil game

    As a huge fan of the series particularly the remake and RE2, this is a very different entry in the franchise. It's first and foremost a cooperative action game NOT survival horror if you're looking for survival horror this isn't the game. But I'll be the first to admit it's an insanely fun co-op game but can be incredibly frustrating offline, your partner's AI has a tendency to waste ammo and healing items. 90% of the game takes place in the daytime making it easily the least scary game in the main series. But with a friend and the addition of the two story packs it's well worth the asking price.

    Fun action co op.

    Its an older game, but still holds up fun action edition to resident evil story line. Hit of horror no real scares but a fun action co op game. And that is what really makes this special is the co op. I really miss co ops like this so was glad to see a port to ps4. No real graphic updates to it. Sure it runs smoother but thats it.

    A classic rejuiced

    I loved this game on PS3 and now on PS4 is is even smoother and crisp! Some of the best coop in any game online or split screen and a really fun game story. Characters are cool, gameplay is great! More tense and pulse pounding than traditional horror RE but I appreciate it for what it is!
