However, when I looked at the site the sellar says delivery in 2 - 3 days. On this occasion the sellar took 8 days from payment to dispatch the item. Granted, it was within the ebay 10 day rule, but why advertise 2 - 3 days delivery and then not adhere to that. There was not any communication from the sellar and nor did it say that they were on holiday.

Delivery info was rather optimistic. Delivery confirmed as 16-19 August but seller on holiday when I placed my order on 13th (I did not realise when I ordered); package didn't reach the post office till 17th (a Sunday) so not actually collected by royal.mail till.18th. They did their best and it arrived 20th.
