Content is different that expected . . .
When I purchased, I was expecting chapters of content. What is actually presented are paragraphs of statements from people that have been involved with Star Trek since the beginning to present. In the beginning of the book, he has listed by name all that contributed, their background, and their association to Star Trek. I am familiar with some and others not at all. I don't want to say that it isn't interesting, it is, but at the moment I am picking and choosing what comments I want to read and skipping some of the people I am not familiar with. To my mind, some these people were on the periphery and I am not too interested with/in them. That's just me. I am sure that some will not get enough and still want more. I enjoy reading the blurbs from the people I know and have read some I don't. I do recommend it because there are interesting tidbits to be had. I have read a lot about Star Trek (all TOS autobiographies) , all television specials, DVD's, magazines, etc. I thought I would get some information that maybe had not been presented before, and there is. I purchased the second book (the next 25 years) and it is the same format. Because of this, I am glad I did not purchase at full price.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Well written, complete, and interesting
At first, I was a little uncertain about the direction of the book because the authors did not use subheadings in the chapters but I enjoyed the content so much and I learned to accept the sometimes unclear segues. The book is first rate.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
