Top Notch Bible!
Purchased as a brand new bible, which was very difficult to find so I expected to pay quite a bit more. But the 1987 Zondervan Lockman Expanded edition of this Amplified Bible is gorgeous and comes included with many helpful aids, several of which are a glossary, maps and a concordance. Not your typical features that are a testament to how beautifully thought out and well put together this Bible is!

Amplified Bible speaks to us in our own language!
Bible is in very good condition. Fast shipping and super pricing! The Amplified Bible is one of my favorite versions. This bible's text and interpretation speaks to us in our own language, making it easier to read, understand, explain and is Spirit Filled edition.

Good resource to add to biblical studies
It is ok. I like the KJV much better it is the more accurate version of the scriptures. The amplified is a good reference tool for looking up the meaning of words that are of greek or Hebrew origin. The amplified also gives a better understanding of the scriptural text for today's modern English language.

Easy to Read
This Amplified Bible is my "go to" Bible even though I have a number of them. It's easy to read and I especially appreciate the detail which explains God's word to me in a way I can understand. I'm really happy about my new Bible and definitely recommend the Amplified to anyone wanting a deeper understanding of God's word.

Amplified Bible is an important one in my library
When I read a verse that speaks to me in some way, or makes me ask questions, I want to know what other translations say about it. The Amplified Bible is one of the first other translations I turn to in order to get the sense of what the verse is saying. Very grateful for this translation.

Amplified classic Bible earlier version
The Amplified. Version is a great study tool but these older copies are much better than the most recent version. The new version waters down the meaning! I highly recommend getting the older version while used copies can still be found.

Good addition to your Biblical library
Good addition to have in your library - adds a little more enhancement to scripture and helps you pick up the full meaning of a verse. Not something I would use as my only Bible, but I like to keep it handy to get a fuller sense of a verse that may not be apparent in the KJV.
