Great History, Great Recipes
I found the introduction and history of the recipes very interesting. Retiring in the south after living "up North", I was seeking recipes that have both home-cooking and southern flavors. This cookbook gives me both. In addition, the recipes are simple, not requiring me to go out a buy hard to find, expensive ingredients. I got as keepsake, its mostly spanish foods
