    If you like WWII history it doesn't get much better than this.

    Very well written telling of Omar Bradley's WWII experience. Fastinating descriptions on how and why the allied armies won the European theatre.

    A “Soldier’s” Story

    That he considered himself a soldier and not a general is in itself a lesson in humility that we can learn from. And it’s the attitude that runs throughout the book.
