Classic British horror
This isn’t a Hammer film but in the same tradition with great performance by Hammer regular Hazel Court. Color is vivid and Welsh location well presented. Camera operator is the great Nicholas Roeg who later became a cinematographer and director. Movie has reputation for gore but only for its early 60s period. Very good with good acting.
