As for the item, it was able to diagnose the problem of my boot looping Amiga 2000 without needing to purchase unnecessary parts. I was only getting a white / grey screen. With this plugged in, the diag menu appeared (also visible via a hyper terminal on an old XP laptop). It told me I had no Tick pulse to the CIA chip. Changed jumper 300 to 2-3, and I was able to boot! A very useful and valuable chip. Hoping it will work on my CDTV too.
