Works perfect. Fixed constant clicking on/off by AC unit. Returned our being able to use actual Fahrenheit temperature rather than having to pull it down to 50 degrees to get AC to turn on. Very, very happy our AC is back to 100%.

Control box no longer available
This thermostat works with and through control kit #3107541.009 which is no longer supported by Dometic. It is replaced by a Single Zone LCD T-stat and control kit #3313189.000 [if you don't have a heat strip]. If your old thermostat has a problem this unit will probably work but if the control box relay is bad it will not help. My old T-stat was still good, the control box was only letting the furnace start and go through one heat cycle then shut off as normal but as room temp. fell the furnace would not start again. Even pushing the temp. selector to a higher setting had no effect however lowering the lever way down and then back up would start the heat cycle again but only for one more cycle. If you are having a similar problem look into getting the new up to date Single Zone LCD ... This thermostat works with and through control kit #3107541.009 which is no longer supported by Dometic. They do not last forever
Thermostats collect dust and moisture and start to rust, and then start not working at the temperature you set them to. So, you dink around with the slide, turn it up or down to reach the temp you are looking for. Also, the air controller can effect whether the conditioner is receiving constant power to the fans. For a few dollars you can fix all of this 1 week for the parts, 10 minutes to install. They work perfect. Should have done it earlier. Direct OEM replacement.
The item was a direct OEM replacement and was easy to install. This unit is not 12 volts so make sure you're ordering the right one. This unit works great with the old control box for the AC and heat.

Good buy
This is a direct replacement. Reasonably easy to replace and made the furnace and A/C work properly again. It looks a little different but that is 10 year newer technology ! Outer face is the same.

For 7.5 vdc, not 12 vdc.
Thermostat dose not work on older campers. Mine is 12 vdc and this thermostat is 7.5 vdc. There was no mention of the voltage rating. I found it when i opened the thermostat. I was told by several rv stores that this will work, so i bought it. Instructions say to use only with a specific relay panel. I took a chance and lost. This appears to be a good product, just not for me. I purchased another duo-therm thermostat and it works great.Thermostat dose not work on older campers.
