I really appreciated the little note you sent with it explaining the difference between the 2015 revised amp bible and the older 1987 version (which I have purchased) which is now called 'Classic amp bible' & how it's text matches the Classic Amp version on bible gateway (which it does). Many thanks for taking the time and care to do this.

    Large print edition is always good for easy reading

    Hardcover doesn't break easily. Large print edition is always good for easy reading. Ultimately, this is the word of God and has the power to transform lives. And the word of God must be clearly understood in order to fully live it out. The parallel version is one way of diving a bit deeper and the Amplified Bible "amplifies" and brings out the real original meanings for a better understanding and better application. Best paired with NKJV which, in my opinion, is the closest to the original KJV but with a more simplified English expression. Highly recommended!

    Text Smaller Than I'd Hoped

    I always enjoy having another translation at hand when I read the Bible...for clarification. This Bible fills the bill. The reason I did not rate it five stars is that the "large print" is not significantly large and the Amplified version is so close to the NKJV that it does not make much of a difference which is read and, therefore, does not offer much clarification of the text.

    The parallel NKJV/Amplified Bible is a great way to get two powerful translations in one place. This edition makes it very easy to compare verses and gain greater understanding from God's word! Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a Bible that will help them understand or explain to others what God is saying to His people.

    Book is very delicate

    The pages are extremely thin and the type has a tendency to bleed through from the back side.
