    Very fast ship, but no direct tracking provided by manufacturer (Kwikset) who actually sent the package was reflected on eBay. This gave the appearance that the seller was asleep at the wheel when in fact the shipping and tracking was out of their hands. A simple explanation on the listing that the product was not coming from Florida would have helped tremendously. Overall, a good and expedient transaction.

    Saw is light of weight, mitre box helps to cut lines straight

    The saw is light to hold and cuts pretty straight. I mounted the mitre box on my porch railing, where it is open for easy movement when sawing, and its stable. The only problem I have is with the clamps almost never being able to be of any use as the pieces of wood I am using are proportioned in such a way that the holes that the clamps fit into are either covered up by the wood piece, or the holes are too far away from the point where the clamp can hold the wood. So instead I find myself almost always having to use a C clamp, which works much better than the plastic clamps that come with the mitre box. The mitre box and saw are worth the price I paid though, and I am happy with the product, and the straighter than ever before cut-lines I now make.

    Great conception throughout.

    It is very well conceived and constructed. One could think plastic is not a good choice but this kind is the right thing. The additional 45 degree angle through the thickness of the plank is great for box construction. The saw is a good quality one and the price is right!

    75 year old women like it

    I'm a 75 years young women and I was not sure if I would be able to handle this miter box saw combo. Well it worked just fine and I was able to cut all the floor moldings at 45 degree angles with little effort. The trick is to make sure you clamp it down in a convenient spot for sawing.

    Perfect Tool For Baseboards

    As a homeowner with little experience in home repairs, I expected that the replacing of base boards would be very challenging. After reading most of the reviews posted , I decided on the Stanley clamping miter box with saw since the price was right. This item was perfect for cutting base boards. The box was accurate and the saw was sharp. My work looks good.
