Historiy Come to Life
A very intense performance but does leave one wondering how factual it all is. I'm sure there was research and consultants, but still actors interpret historical events and the behavior of historical personages in their own way. Kelsey Grammer as George Washington - interesting interpretation, must take it with a grain of salt. As far as I know the underlying historical facts are there. They could have mentioned the person of Thaddeus Kosciuszko, a Polish military engineer - who also played a major part in the Saratoga Battle and who later planned and directed the building of the fortifications at West Point (which the British thought impregnable, thus they needed Arnold to betray the Americans).
