In order to prevent a grim future in which mutants and their human sympathizers are systematically hunted and killed by towering, unstoppable robots called Sentinels, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) travels back in time to change the course of history in this sequel that finds X-MEN and X2: X-MEN UNITED director Bryan Singer returning to the helm. The film opens in a dark and desolate future that was set in motion in 1973, when brilliant scientist Dr. Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) created a series of giant robots called Sentinels for the sole purpose of wiping out mutants, whom he claimed were a direct threat to the human race. Although initially programmed solely to target mutants, the Sentinels soon began eradicating humans who possessed the DNA to breed mutants, and eventually, any mortal mutant sympathizers. Desperate, Prof. Xavier (Patrick Stewart) and Magneto (Ian McKellen) devise a plan to have Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page) send Wolverine back to the year when Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) assassinated Trask -- it turns out that Mystique inadvertently accelerated the Sentinel program when she was subsequently captured by Sgt. William Stryker (Josh Helman), who succeeded at harvesting her DNA to make the robots more powerful than ever before.Upon arriving in the past, Wolverine quickly seeks out a much younger Charles Xavier (James McAvoy), as well as Beast (Nicholas Hoult) and Quicksilver (Evan Peters), and together they help break a young Magneto (Michael Fassbender) out of a heavily fortified prison cell hundreds of feet beneath the Pentagon. Meanwhile, with the help of Havok, Ink, Toad, and Spike, Mystique is already moving in for the kill. Although Wolverine, Beast, Charles, and Magneto manage to thwart the assassination, Charles and Magneto once again find themselves at odds after the latter attempts to alter the plan at the last moment, creating a mass panic during a post-Vietnam War peace summit in Paris. And Dr. Trask, still fuming from having had the Sentinel program rejected by Congress, takes his proposal directly to President Nixon (Mark Camacho), laying the groundwork for an even darker future than the one Wolverine was sent back to prevent.

Great Movie!
This has to be my favorite X-Men Movie out of all of them made so far. It has both cast of their younger and older selves and I absolutely love the ending. The difference between the original theater version and the rouge cut is, Once kitty gets cut by wolverine in the movie. it starts to take a different twist. Almost making it a different movie altogether. In the original rouge is in the movie like what, 5 seconds. She gets a lot more scene time in this version. I won't ruin it for you, you'll just have to watch it yourself!This has to be my favorite X-Men Movie out of all of them made so far. I really liked the fact how the XMEN characters returned to the big screen after the release of XMEN THE LAST STAND back in 2006 including from XMEN FIRST CLASS because it really maked sense after I watched the post credits scene from THE WOLVERINE and how they were training in the beginning of XMEN THE LAST STAND in the scene "the not too distant future" when Magneto warns Wolverine that every mutant will soon be threatened by the weapons developed gy Bolivar Trask and the return of Prof. X in the aiport scene and how the characters were in the training room with one Sentinel from the 1970's. The movie includes the flaskbacks from Wolverine's past, starting with XMEN (200), X2 (2003), XMEN THE LAST STAND (2006), XMEN ORIGINS WOLVERINE (2009) and THE WOLVERINE (2013) when Charles reads ... One thing Woverine couldn't remember is when he seeks Charles Xavier's help and the fact how he dismssed him and Magneto at the bar scene back from XMEN FIRST CLASS and swearing "go f*** yourself". This movie includes the Rogue Cut in which Rogue is not seen in the original version until the past is changed in the end and how they included Apocalypse as the deadliest villains from Marvel universe, building the pyramids from Egypt and representing the next villian in the upcoming XMEN APOCALYPSE, which will be released in May 2016.

Great movie!
I love this movie so much, It is the best xmen movie ever! I ordered this yesterday and Im so exicted to get it! I dont know the condition of this product. I really hope it comes with a digital copy, its fine if it doesn't but if it does then i will be really happy. 100/10 Buy this movie!

X-Men Fan-atic lol
For as long as I can remember I've always loved X-Men even when they botched up the movies. I didn't know this movie or should I say this version of the movie existed till recently so I had to have it for my collection. It's a great twist and I enjoyed it. Highly recommend watching 😁
