EA Sports returns to coax players off the couch and "in the game," with the Active 2 physical fitness program. The virtual workout instruction is presented in a format similar to the Wii-exclusive original's, detecting and processing full body motion through more than 70 individual activities, including aerobic workouts, athletic training, and muscle-toning exercises. A heart-rate monitor integrates with the software to display the intensity of the workout, onscreen in real-time. The program can tailor routines for each user, and it tracks individual performances, offers tips, and highlights personal improvements in the various exercises. Internet-enabled users can connect and compare their experiences in an online virtual community space. Those truly dedicated to improving their physical fitness can follow Active 2's nine-week course of exercises and activities, designed by certified personal trainers to encourage safe, healthy results.<br><br><i>Addendum: The game's online servers were taken offline April 13, 2012, negating all online features.</i>

    Getting active through EA

    This is a typical game for people trying to get themselves in shape. I'm a person that likes customizable workouts. This is great b/c it tracks your heartrate and unlike the others ea active games...not every exercise requires the remote. That's super convenient.

    Awesome Workout Game

    I absolutely love this workout game. It makes me sweat and it pushes me to work hard every day. I love the 9 week challenge, it helps build my muscles and helps me grow on moving forward in working out on my own in a gym. I've lost 35 pounds so far! :)

    Good game, excellent condition

    I love the game, it's really challenging, the game, sensors and rubber are in excellent conditions, if you want to exercise at home you should definitely try this!

    Like it but it won't ready movements

    Every time I get to the point of using the resistance bands it won't read my movements at all and I have to keep restarting it. It took me 2 hours to get through 1 exercise set. I would love for that to be fixed. I tried changing batteries, re-setting my Wii, changing controllers, turning everything off and on. It read every other exercise but the band parts.

    Some Difficulity

    Some of the exercises are difficult right now, but the strength builder exercises are making it easier. Within a few weeks I should be in great shape using the techniques demonstrated in the show me videos.
