It was not clear to me if this should have been necessary as there were no installation instructions included. I didn't notice much of a difference between the projector running without and with the belt, either way, and would probably skip this one next time. All of the other belts fit well and work as they should.

Upon opening the envelope I took the item with me to look at it at the turntable. A customer came up to me and asked a question and i went back to my checkout counter in my store. I have never seen the item since. Looked for it for 2 hours. I gave up. I'm going to the automotive store and am going to purchase a 1-3/8" diameter O ring for .50 cents to see if that works. If not will reorder another one.
