    Good Start of the Hobbit

    This is the first of the three DVDs of the full movie. The quality of the movie is very good. The only point of contention is that it strayed from the book quite often throughout the movie. The book is most excellent reading and I have read it many times. I wish Hollywood would stick true to the books they make movies from but we all know that is asking the impossible.

    I read all of the Hobbit/Rings books and...

    I read all of the Hobbit/Rings books and it's nice to see them acted out. When I was younger I thought that if you read a book, seeing a movie based on that book would be redundant, but that's almost never the case. Sometimes the movie is wildly different from the book, but even when the director tries to keep the movie faithful to the book, there's inevitably a different spin, and that makes things interesting.

    Hobbit World Lovely Addition

    Great movie for adults, but not for children. There are some dark scenes and scary elements. The blu-ray is so clear and the extra tidbits included are fun for those who love behind the scenes. If you are a fan of The Hobbit books, then this is right up your alley.

    On time, looks good

    Arrived on time, the packaging looks good. It’s a Christmas gift so I haven’t opened it to make sure it plays well. But I anticipate it will be fine. I already love the movie.
