Product Information

Rockstar's Midnight Club racing series makes its first appearance on next-gen consoles after a three-year hiatus. Instead of solely focusing on the nighttime racing scene, Midnight Club features a 24-hour day-night cycle set in densely populated Los Angeles. Powered by the same graphics engine used in Grand Theft Auto IV, the title offers arcade-style racing from either a behind-the-car perspective or a dashboard viewpoint with working dials and animated steering wheels. There are no longer menu screens to navigate or linear missions to follow. The entire city is available to explore from the start, so players are free to travel wherever they want, looking for opponents to challenge in races designed to test their driving prowess. Up to four players can compete simultaneously online via Xbox Live.<br><br>Reputation points earned from races can be traded in for new vehicles, performance parts, and special race invitations. The digital version of Los Angeles is the largest city featured in a Midnight Club game to date. Spanning an area larger than all three cities combined in 2005's version, Midnight Club: Los Angeles has players switching between an aerial perspective to plan routes and a street level view to prowl for potential events. Initiating races involves flashing the vehicle's lights to signal an opponent and then driving to a designated start point. Any damage received while driving or racing can be repaired at various garages. Multiple vehicle types are available from different eras and include motorcycles. Midnight Club: Los Angeles also features a licensed soundtrack by popular recording artists.<br><br>The "Complete Edition" includes all previously released updates and the "South Central Expansion" content add-on pack.

    Best racing game of 2008

    As much as I love it's predecessors this game is just cool and amazing the graphics look more realistic thanks to the rage engine that the developers use to make it, the story is good but what makes it different from the previous games is that instead having the story focus on you (player), the game actually has a protagonist and the amount of characters have so many personalities aside from that the controls are tight and slippery at first glance making cars feel more realistic as intended and the camera is abit annoying because it's set to default but other than that I'd suggest you change the controls and camera to your liking, cruising around los angeles is just magical it really makes you feel like you're driving in los angeles you'll recognize alot of land marks such as Santa Monica, ...

    Great game, great price, great experience

    Okay, so I’ve bought this game several times and transferred from console to console over the span of a few years and I still continue to enjoy the game to this day. You can tell that the developers intended to put FUN back into racing. From 45-50 vehicles you can customize down to the bone of each car to the limitless time and effort you can put into your racing skills. Midnight Club continues to be one of the the best games I have ever purchased. I also want to add that this game when purchased with the complete edition and online capabilities unlocks a whole new world of racing. A lot of people enjoy the online experience but I’m just so pleased with the game that I’m cool riding solo 😎. Great game, great price, great experience.     Cheaper than the 360 Marketplace

    Midnight Club LA is $15 digitally, so you’re saving a good bit of money here. Shipping is also pretty fast. Case had a slight crack in it so I just swapped it out but that’s the only complaint. Game works, and came with all the stuff it comes with like the user manual and what not. Great buy.

    Good ....

    My 10 year old likes the personalization of the cars in the game. It was a great price. Plays it a lot. It would be better if it were two player OFFLINE. Other than that it is a great game.
