    Groundbreaking

    This little camera has been used on giant film productions such as Avengers II and American Sniper. The image it produces is outstanding, with 13 stops of dynamic range and strong ProRes codecs or raw for editing. The biggest advantage is the size and accessibility this camera gives you. You can film anywhere with this camera and nobody gets uncomfortable or asks any questions: It looks like a consumer point and shoot camera! Blackmagic Design has truly made the first camera of its kind, and it's a game changer, especially for indie filmmakers.

    Lightweight with great quality

    My son like it so much. It has great quality, it is clear, and the screen is big enough. The only thing is it would of have been great if it took pictures like a camera. I guess it is only a video camera. Other than that, the camera is great!! It takes good videos; my son takes videos for his songs. I would recommend it to people who are interested in making music videos or taking videos for a trip.

    Great camera for the enthusiast

    An amazing camera for the money. It's clearly designed for the enthusiast or beginning filmmaker, with tools and tech that would usually come on much higher-end cameras. Not super great for photos or street photography, but that's not what it's for. This is a camera with a relatively low entry point, but with lots of features to grow into. I look forward to doing so.

    best quality image for the money!

    This camera is fantastic! I'm consistently amazed by the image quality and the low light performance with the speedbooster. If you're looking for a great camera for narrative feature and short work on a budget, and you have a powerful post workstation this is a no brainer!

    Great camera. Just purchased my second one to use a B camera with my first one. Shoots with 12 bit color and high dynamic range. I shoot in raw, so it integrates well with DaVinci Resolve.
