    Model arrived fine, however for a high value item I expected better packing. Bubble wrap around the model would have been nice. Was just shipped with the brown bag, honeycomb paper (which tends to not be enough protection) and paper in box.

    Lost Moon review.

    Lost Moon is a great read on Apollo 13 , the successful failure. Fantastic detail is given on how NASA saved the Apollo 13 crew. Lost Moon can not be put down, a real cliffhanger. Even though you know the outcome in history this book is very exciting til the last page. Plus the coauther. being Jim Lovel helps also. Highly recommended.

    A hero's tale, sovwell worth a read.

    I grew up with the Apollo programme & became entranced by it. Apollo13 & it's eventual outcome gripped the world's attention. Jim Lovell & his crew triumphed over adversity. They were superbly aided by NASA ground staff. Lovell was a 4 time astronaut & superbly capable. He was the right man, in the right place, ready & able to manage all the problems & get his crew home safely. This book is written by a real hero, certainly he is one of mine & I am so glad to have this superb copy signed by one if my all time heroes.

    Lost Moon

    Great read! After seeing the movie Apollo 13 numerous times, I wanted to know the real story, and of course it takes Hollywood to embellish a truly incredible incident. But, by enlarge, the movie was fairly accurate!

    Marvelous story!

    Very interesting containing all of the backstories not shown in movies or even NASA footage. The book is in excellent condition considering it was used. I looked for this for a long time and am so glad I finally found it.

    Excellent recounting of the ill fated mission. While reading the book you must remind yourself that they made it back or you will tense up wondering if they do.
