NotesLimited green vinyl LP pressing. Originally broadcast in 1965, A Charlie Brown Christmas is hands down one of the most beloved specials in TV history. Commissioned by Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz, Vince Guaraldi and his trio rounded out by Monty Budwig (bass) and Colin Bailey (drums), composed and performed the timeless contemporary jazz score which wonderfully reflects both the spirit of the legendary Peanuts characters and the Christmas season. A Grammy Hall of Fame inductee in 2007, A Charlie Brown Christmas was inducted into the Library of Congress in May of 2012 with the accompanying statement, "A Charlie Brown Christmas introduced jazz to millions of listeners," and 45 plus years on it's still doing just that.

Excellent Quality
It's Green. It looks like Christmas! The sound is as good as any audiophile recording I have purchased. Really very, very, very (as DT would say) fantastic! This will bring you back to the days when you had to actually wait for the Christmas shows to come on -- and if you missed them? tough luck. great soundtrack, well put together
This is a classic cartoon that I watched as a kid and my kids watch today. Having the soundtrack is great because it brings the music from the background of the film to the foreground. All of the talking is removed and you realize how talented the band was that played for this cartoon. My kids like the record and it's enjoyable listen full way through. Can't get enough of Vince Guaraldi loved this as a kid, still love it today.

Peanuts fan
