Essential kit
So I got this for £17 which was a very good deal for what you get. Basic rule book, story book for DM, set of dice, intuitive tracker cards, NPC cards, magic item cards, blank PC sheets and a DM screen. The DM is very small is my first downer. Second downer is the rule book isn’t for beginners and some people new to game might find it a little confusing. I’m not new to D&D but new to being a DM and I thought the way the rules where worded was slightly confusing with constant turn to this page for this and now to that page for that. Last downer is think there should be more blank PC sheets. Story’s not bad with some good monsters in, and love the idea of the cards in the box. The DM screen is very good with some great info on for noob DM’s but is very small at just over A5 hight. I personally wouldn’t say the box is worth over £25 like some shops are selling it for.

Literally an essential kit for new DM's or players, and good reference for established Keepers
Very affordable, excellent follow on to the Starter Set box, expanding on the rules to show how players can design their characters and grow them in adventures. This literal "essential" D&D kit takes the gaming location setting further with an expansive scenario story that will both entertain the players, and help the Dungeon Master develop their knowledge and experience too. Includes sample player characters, blank character sheets, double-sided map, cards for magic items and mini-quests, rule book, a complete adventure, and all the necessary dice. Great value with lots of components.

Awesome just for the adventure and DnDbeyond extras
The physical version unlocks a whole set of further adventures on DnDbeyond taking it from a starter adventure to a whole campaign. which is great as it also teaches people how to play as it goes along. The dm screen is a bit flimsy but has good artwork and info on it, and I expect it helps to keep the costs down so low.

where has it been all my life, get it now
if you like fun, adventure amd what to learn the game, then this is a good place to start. you just need to gather your friends online or in person and you off hving a fun night.

D&D essential kit
Great set for begginers. Includes NPC's (non player characters) which makes it suited to 2 players for anyone worried about not having a group of people to play. Easy to follow, highly recommend.
