Pretty good show
This is a pretty good movie. My kids love it, and it is somewhat entertaining for even adults. The first episode, "International Super Spy" is based on a James Bond type of theme, with music kind of jazz like. It is a double length feature (twice as long as the usual episodes). The second episode is "The Secret of Snow". With a holiday / Christmas theme, and big band type music, this show is pretty enjoyable. The third episode is my favorite, "The Giant Problem". With 80's style of music (done perfectly for the genre) and comical situations, the story is of 2 magicians who can't seem to get their spells right in order to get rid of a giant that is making noise while the royal princess wants to take her nap! Backyardigans are the best!
I have 7 children between the ages 2 and 13 and every one of them love Backyardigans. I love them because they are creative, always have a moral to the story, the lyrics to the songs are clever, cute and funny, they teach a lot about cooperation and being a good friend. My kids like to pretend that they are the different characters in the show and will continue to play "Backyardigans" long after the movie is over. It has increased their imagination and creativity in their play. I highly recommend them for children of all ages.
