Only 1/32 A-4M option available. 1/32 Trumpy A-4's are an in some respects better than 1/32 Hasegawa.
The 1/32 Trumpeter A-4 Skyhawk is generally a good model. Fit is good with recessed panel lines. The ability to drop slats, flaps, open access hatches, engine nacelle inlet ducting and a detailed engine are all positives and an improvement over the older Hasegawa offering.
There are some short comings however. The vortex generators are too large and out of scale. The upper rudder is not properly depicted . The flight compartment lacks or provides inaccurate detail. The nacelles themselves are not entirely correct. The nose wheel is molded as one piece with the NLG strut - in 1/32 scale it shows. There is a step where the slats retract into the wing ... But this is the case with all Skyhawk model offering lowered slats (eg. 1/72 Fujimi, 1/48 and 1/32 Hasegawa)
Finally, earlier offerings of the 1/32 Trumpeter A-4E/F and A-4M provided the option of Metal Main Landing Gear. My recent purchase of the A-4M showed that the Metal MLG is no longer provided.
Overall a Good kit and an improvement over the 1/32 Hasegawa option. It is the only option for a later 1/32 A-4M with the lager canopy. HTH
