Better than older versions
This is a great coffee maker. This replaces a Cuisinart 10 cup glass carafe coffee maker that STB, that was over 10 years old. I checked off "no" on the question "does it brew quickly" because it takes it's time brewing. That is just what you want if you want a good cup of coffee. The thermal carafe is great. The coffee you make will stay hot without developing that burned taste. The one drawback is if you brew 1 or2 cups ( or get that far down in your pot) you have to almost have to turn the carafe upside down to make it pour.
