Quality writing
If Sorkin writes it, you owe it to yourself to watch it. You will be entertained with humor. You will learn something, but most important you will be required to think! As in all of Sorkin's work the characters have many levels that are continuing to evolve as the story continues. Listen carefully because you will be surprised when a side comment is an important point later in the story or a future episode. Season 3 does a great job of closing all ongoing story lines.
