Great BMW Motorrad sat nav
This is a genuine BMW Motorrad sat nav. Fits straight onto the pre fit sat nav mount and works perfectly. There was quite a lot of updates to install and you do have to download the maps that you might need, but the unit has loads of space, 125 GB I believe, so no issues there. Once plugged into the bike, and paired with a Cardo intercom, it’s easy to follow with clear visual and audible instructions. The unit can be secured to the bike via the mount but can also be easily removed to be programmed in your house or hotel room, ready for your next ride. Great replacement or upgrade for your BMW.
Very pleased with this unit. Was hesitant for a while, but too the plunge and bought one. Seamless integration with the BMW of course, and its screen is very clear; even in direct sunlight. Very easy to set-up to suit. Easy imports for GPX files. Very accurate and very responsive. Zero regrets. A couple of of omissions: no safety cameras, and no speed shown as of software version 1.0.3.
