5 minute behavior modification
My 60 pound girl is 15 months old and has pulled on the leash terribly. I finally got fed up with it. After 5 minutes she was better. For the first walk we took with the smart dog, every time there was no slack in the leash and she was pulling I said no and zapped her on lvl 1 at the same time. After 5 or 6 times she figured it out and stopped pulling literally that simple. After a week of using it every day the difference was incredible. I order off eBay often and never write reviews but my dog is the most important thing to me so i hope this helps someone like me. I wish i would have gotten this earlier in her life. my experience
I hunt pheasants, geese, ducks, turkeys. Have a three year old 130# black lab that liked to run after the birds and not stop and come back when commanded. Even killed one of the farmers chickens. Wouldn't listen when birds on the ground got his attention. He follows all other commands just fine. Worked with the new Sportdog stubborn dog collar a few hours in the back yard and took it to the field. My regular hunting bud said "Its like a new dog" . Now I wont go as far as to say that BUT - He sure does listen and follow commands well now. Started to run after a hen that flushed and one "nick" of the receiver and he stopped and resumed hunting. Well made training tool for dogs
When used with care, his is a great addition to a training program for your dog. The collar is durable, and SportDog is a well recognized brand. There are many levels ranging from a audible tone to an static shock. We were having trouble with our dog digging under our neighbor's privacy fence, and we were able to correct this behavior in one afternoon. If our pet had escaped under the fence, he could have been killed on a busy street. The collar corrected the bad behavior as well as quite possibly saving our dog's life. These collars are not a replacement for poor training. You must follow the instructions and use them properly. Sportdog shock collar for stubborn dog.
We have only had to shock our very stubborn dog a few times. He was already trained, just strong willed. We never had to go past 1 in intensity. Now all he needs is a warning, which is a beep, and he stops his naughty behavior immediately. By the way, he's a very sweet loving pit bull. Amazing
I have a very high energy and driven boy. He listens amazing inside but once we go outside you can't break whatever he is focused on. We live on 3 acres with no fencing. After warning with the tone and then the use of level 2 shock he's never listened better and actually stays by my side! The rest of the day I only had to use the tone as a warning!
