Roll through the Isle of Mazes as Turbo Turtle in this action puzzle game from Majesco. The value-minded release takes the basic form of an animated puzzle box, where players must guide the hero from a top-down perspective to roll across plank and platform mazes without falling through holes or over the edge. Completing a maze often requires the hero to collect color-coded keys in the proper order to pass through locked doors. Progress is further complicated by level elements such as gaps which must be jumped, Electro Fields that cannot be crossed without special protection, and Arrow tiles that push Turbo Turtle in a certain direction.<br><br>Graciously, each level is also stocked with a variety of power-ups that the hero can use while facing certain challenges. Glide Shells make it easier to control Turbo Turtle and allow him to build up more momentum to scoot across rough areas. Builder Items let him lay down his own plank pathways across open areas, one tile at a time. Spike Shells give him better traction on slippery surfaces like ice. Even with this extra help though, traversing the mazes usually requires a good plan and a steady hand. While the basic objective is finding the exit on each level, expert Turbo Turtle players can also search for invisible platforms that lead to Bonus Levels and other well-hidden secrets. Turbo Turtle is for one player and offers three battery-save slots.
