In 1974 I received a West Bend Egg Cooker from my mother-in-law. I had never used one but soon found out it was invaluable. 44 years later I was still using it—weekly and sometimes daily. But it got banged up in some moves—broken handles. Then I dropped the lid and it shattered. How lucky I was to find the exact same egg cooker—looked brand new. I estimated I used the other cooker at least 4,000 times. So this one may outlast me but I appreciate it and know there is no better egg cooker on the market because I have looked!
Perfect eggs every time. Adjust doneness by the amount of water you put in. I bought one on ebay as a backup for my original that is still working! Circa... 1982
I had one of these egg cookers since 1979 and it finally pooped out.I've been searching for one ever since mine broke. I've tried modern ones and don't like them as well. This one is very user friendly. I never thought I'd find another one like it.
