One of the best consoles ever.
The Nintendo New 3DS XL still manages to hold up even past 2020 with its wide selection of exciting, unique, and fantastic experiences for anyone to enjoy. I can't recommend getting one enough. As opposed to more traditional home consoles like Xbox and PlayStation insatiable chasing after "better" graphics, higher texture resolution, and new ways to spin the same old FPS format, Nintendo continues to provide completely new and interesting ways to play games that push the envelope past anything before it. Every single time. While Nintendo does suffer from Multiple-Iteration-of-virtually-the-same-console syndrome (eg. OLED switch, New 3DS, XL, Wii U, etc.), the upgrades are not necessary but are usually huge quality of life changea that actually do incentivize and benefit new buyers to trade or sell their old console. The Nintendo New 3DS XL is no different from any other Nintendo console in that it is a beautiful piece of hardware. The 'New' denotes changes to the base hardware and some other QoL changes and even enhances the core gimmick/mechanic of this line of handhelds; unassisted stereoscopic 3D visuals! It truly stands up there with the Wii and Switch as one of the best gaming devices/consoles even in 2022. If you're tired of the same old, of the "Bigger, better graphica" selling point peddled by other companies and just want to try out some of the best games of all time on one of the best systems of all time, look no further!
