I purchased this record the day after Ozzy died and the seller emailed me the very next day to let me know it was out of stock. He offered me a refund or I could wait until it was stocked up again. I chose to wait on it but before I got home from work it had been delivered the following Monday! It was packaged well and I will definitely be back to buy more from this dealer! An amazing story beautifully told!
First saw this on my local Public Television station and was stunned to find most of my favorite music from the 60's and 70's was performed by a core group of studio musicians known as The Wrecking Crew. Here is the promo blurb: Music lovers will be astonished at the influence The Wrecking Crew wielded over rock and pop music in the 1960s and early 1970s. So many musical memories and histories makes this video fly by and gives you an insight never before documented on film as this is. Bottom line, this is a must see if you are into any music, especially of the 60's. The bonus CD is worth the price alone. The Wrecking Crew
This is an absolute must for musicians and fans of any era of music. No one really knew these fantastic musicians were backing all the great songs in the 60s until it was revealed, years later. Many very excellent musicians went on to become stars on their own after they left this group, but most impressive, IMHO, was Leon Russell - The Master Of Space And Time.

When you want to find out about the Hollywood recording scene, during Rock Music's growth years (late 50's - 70's) this is the documentary to get. Learned more than I expected about the background of the session players used on many of the hits of the era. These professional musicians were super talented and knew their role in the formulation of the music. Fascinating!
"The Wrecking Crew" is a movie that explains quite a bit about the background of many of our favorite musical artists, but the thrust of it is the interviews with a selected group of studio musicians, who played on untold numbers of recordings. While it is wonderful to hear & see these characters, and fascinating to watch this DVD, I wanted to hear more of their stories. ...that is a good thing. If you are a lover of music, from the Nineteen-fifties, through the Ninineteen-eighties, then you will really like this movie."The Wrecking Crew" is a movie that explains quite a bit about the background of many of our favorite musical artists, but the thrust of it is the interviews with a selected group of studio musicians, who played on untold numbers of recordings.
