I was skeptical. THIS THING IS AMAZING!!!!!
Let me start by saying that I was very skeptical on accuracy. However, I was blown away by the accuracy, ease of use, and easy calibration. You have the option of using a plug for power, or switching over to battery mode if you are on the go! I did try to trick it slightly with a Alexandrite and a Chrysoberyl and it completely got both of them right! I trust this machine with high end and low end stones. It will actually pick out a CZ from a diamond, same with mois! In closing I would most defiantly tell anyone who works with jewelry or loose stones to get one! Not only doesn't it double check for you, but it's also piece of mind for the buyer!!!!!
