It is a little like the original but a different enough storyline to hold its own. Excellent action sequences, FX, and even some humor thrown in. Damn good value for $8.95
For a movie that appears to have inspired irrational hatred among most "Predator" devotees - so many people have got it wrong. of course it doesn't measure up to the original but is light years better than the other "sequels".....pretty much on a par with the second. Trophy hunter and story line upgrade

The predator
The product itself was brand new as described so 5 stars for that. But the movie...If you don’t question to much about movies, and just want the most ridiculous sci-fi action movie then it’s for you. Bad movie, bad movie, NO!
Poor retread of the original. Same music, similar plot, cliched and tired dialogue. Actors were ok. Not their fault they were given a lousy script. Not worth watching at all. No redeeming qualities. A really bad predator movie.
A really bad comedy like predator movie, made with no respect for the original 1987 version. To much green screen, bad jokes, and really bad casted characters. The creature effects are mind blowing! Great alien concept, as usual with the predator series. The one thing i would like to see is the Filthy Cursing done away with.
