I heart about book "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator" by Edwin Lefevre which telling life story of Jesse Livermore, a famous Stock operator in Wall street at the beginning of the last century. Book was published long ago and without much hope I checked eBay To my surprise book was available for purchase at unbeatable price and in a week book was in my hands. I been told that this book is a bible of traders till today. I was so excited to have it in my hands and do not even noticed how night passed by, I simply can not put this book down.. I started learning trade few months ago, any thing related to trade sparks my interest immediately. This book bring so much beauty in my understanding of centuries old trade. Through life experience of one person, Jesse Livermore, many events of the history became absolutely fascinating. I learn reaction of market to San Francisco 1906 Earthquake, to 1st World War I, to depression at the beginning of last century. Jesse himself with strong deep personality, open observing mind made through all obstacle related to trader profession brings a light on many angle of traders reality as we are facing today. His understanding of life, human relationship and reaction on life event leave impression of wise practical man you want to be. His understanding of market behavior open my eyes on today's market with price action, support and resistance, supply and demand. This book is truly priceless for me.
