A very good comical movie that makes you laugh the entire time.
Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell are at each other again this time Mel Gibson is with them with lots of laughs. The movie is heartwarming and entertaining. A family having a great time at Christmas decorating Christmas trees and attending Christmas programs with their children. Positive message, hilarious yet appropriate for family viewing
This isn't the most realistic movie in the world, but don't you WISH it was? Wouldn't it be great if your bratty stepdaughter turned into an angel the first time you said "I love you"? If you could celebrate Christmas with your wife, your wife's ex-husband, your ex-wife, and the ex-wife's new husband, and all of you ended up being close friends? If a bunch of grumpy strangers stranded at a movie theater on Christmas could morph into a holiday party by singing "Feed the World"? There are no real surprises in this film. You KNOW how it's going to end, because if it ended any other way, it would be depressing. Yes, it's corny. Yes, this territory has been covered before (in MEET THE FOCKERS, UNACCOMPANIED MINORS, and the first DADDY'S HOME). But it's so much fun! This is only my opinion but when comparing it to the first one I thought it stunk! I'm really surprised to because the first one was hilarious and usually anything mark Walburg does I Love but can't say much for this movie wasn't worth buying to my e but you might like it others I know did . Funny movie for the whole family
The dads seem to be coparenting pretty well and getting along great now. They even decided to have a together holiday with both families this year. Trouble is around the corner though, both of their fathers decided to come for a visit at the same time. Now 1grandfather is as loving and sweet as his son,the other is a tough one. He chases women, has an attitude and makes trouble between the dads and causes problems. Now that the conflict begins add another biological father and it'll be a crazy holiday at the cabin one of the grandpas rents for them. A little Crazy sometimes but an entertaining movie. A lot of laughs and fun. Good follow-up on the 1st movie. In some cases they even hit the nail on the head.
