A GOOD FILM! Brad Pitt is great and Bruce Willis is cast against type - good surprise.
I enjoy intelligent films that are also thought-provoking. When science-fiction is the genre, finding films that are both can be challenging. 12 Monkeys fits. The writers of this film, David & Janet Peoples, and the marvelous director Terry Gilliam created a classy sci-fi film; with Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis, and all of the supporting actors, this film matches Gilliam's best - The Trilogy of Imagination", written by Gilliam, about "the ages of man", consisted of Time Bandits (1981), Brazil (1985), and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988).
