Quality rain gauge with many features
Easy to set up and use. Works well and maintenance. Measures a little on the low side.

Awesome Rain Gauge
Same kind given to me MANY years ago and it finally stopped working, so I just had to find another one like it, because of it's effortless way to check rain amounts. No need to worry about dumping and so accurate too ! A great bang for the buck and with speedy shipping ! Thanks!

Good value rain gauge
This is our first Acurite rain gauge and so far it has proven to be a good one. The only suggestion would be for them to include a screen to keep out small trash from getting into the gauge. This easily fixed buy using some fine screen found in any hardware store. Highly recommend this product

"Very easy to install"
I had one for many for at least 15 years and it finally quit working and this new one is exactly like my old one. The old one worked so good I wanted to replace it with one just like it since I was very pleased with the old one. Now I am waiting for some rain.

easy install rain gauge
Got this to replace an older one. This is revised and updated but still reasonably priced. It works great for me. I do wish it had a night light at times but not a deal breaker by any means

if it could be kept clean it would be a good deal
some way to keep it clean.we live in the country and i have to clean mine every day,only registered one rain fall since i bought the thing.bought an old fashioned glass rain gauge,that i have to dump. it's always blocked with bird poop

Great price for an upgraded device
I owned two of this companies prior model. They lasted about one year each even though they worked well for that time. This is a updated version that appears to be more accurate. Also, it's a more modern design. Only question is that there is no screen to prevent debris from blocking the bottom of the collection bowl. I've only had it for 2 1/2 weeks so I'll se how long it lasts and how easily it clogs up with debris. Overall I'm very pleased with the gage so far.

It’s accurate
I thought I was ordering a replacement for a different AcuRite rain gauge, like the one I’d had for a few years. The previous one had a History setting that I appreciated. This one seems accurate, I just miss the old one.

Too much set up required.
This item requires calibration before it will accurately measure the rain. That’s ridiculous. For this money and the simplicity of what it is, it should already be calibrated. The procedure for calibration is very tedious and unreliable. Wouldn’t have bought it if I’d know this. Wouldn’t ever recommend it.
