Seller packaged this really well, everything was bubbled-wrapped and solid. Felt like it could survive a fall off a truck in that box! Shipping was fast too, took only a few days from Japan to arrive after payment. The item is brand new as described. The images helped a lot with deciding and I'm pleased that it looks exactly like what was shown in the listing and photos. Overall, autofocus is super fast and an improvement over the A7R2! Looks brand new, like buying new but with used prices!

Very decent travel lens and great quality build. Sony SEL24-70Z
It’s rather expensive when new but a well cared used examples are some of the best all around lens bargain I think, for these FE 24-70 Z lenses. It’s native to Sony’s A7 series, and does a great job at being a lightweight companion along a travel outing and general use camera lens. Built solid with metal barrels and precise fit mechanism. Images are as sharp as it needs to be for all but most strict of pixel pet peeved analysts. It’s quite good with vibrant colors and accurate focus too. Not a lot of CA nor Distortions at all and flare control is superb on such vast zoom type lens. Fixed F4 offers great control rather than a typical 3.5-5.6 variable to this type of lens and works well wide open too. It’s tiny compared to an F2.8 zoom of this range but does 99% of what the 2.8’s do ... Perfect and better!
Camera lenses aren’t known for being durable, which is why I bought this one. It’s easy to use, great focus, and a good lens for someone who is still learning their way around.

Excellent quality
The difference between the Zeiss lens and the kit lens I have, is night and day. The clarity of focus and depth of field is amazing. I'm only sorry that I didn't buy it sooner. Great lens. I hope they come out with one that goes to 105 mm. I can at least hope!

Although the Sony 28-70mm kit lens is really not all that bad of a lens, I was quite happy with it, Except it lacked that little bit at the wide angle end. Images are what you would expect from Zeiss. A little pricey but shop carefully and you can do okay. With thd 24mm end, you can "get away" with not having to purchase another wide angle such as the 16-35mm for me. I STILL plan on getting it, I just don't need it as fast with this baby! Great product at a great price.
This is an excellent lens for video filming. You can get close-ups as well as wider shots and they are all in perfect sharpness thanks to the Sony auto-focus. The Zeiss optics are crisp and flawless and provide a great medium range image in harmony with the low-light characteristics in the A7S2. The product can be registered on the Sony site and an optional 3-year protection warranty is available
