Great movie.!
I watched this with a young friend who was too young to have seen it when it came out in 1978. She loved it and I will keep it in my dvd library. In spite of the age of the film, the movie is still wonderful. The disc was in perfect condition.

Well made movie A+++++
Frank langellas version of dracula from bram stokers original story. I loved this movie, great acting and special effects, very interesting and captivating. I really enjoyed watching this movie and i highly recommend it to all vampire fanatics like me.

Underappreciated!
What an awesome film! Underappreciated and nearly forgotten. A wonderful adaptation of the Dracula story. Wonderful performances by Sir Laurence Olivier, Frank Langella and Donald Pleasence. In fact the entire cast. Great direction and production values, movie story moves along at a fine pace. Never dull or boring constantly engaging. If you've never seen this do yourself a favor and buy yourself a copy today!

Dracula 1979 Frank Langella
This is undoubtedly the best Dracula movie ever!!!! Even though I first saw it back in the 1990's - the movie stuck with me. I saw the most interesting documentary on making the movie also. They really took a lot of time and trouble to get some of the magnificent shots and effects (they didn't have all the graphics tech in 1989) Also the actors were active in making some of the decisions. Is a masterpiece! JW

"THE "RE-VAMPING" OF DRACULA"
This version of the classic Dracula story is the sexiest, most intriguing version out there...in my opinion. I have been looking for a copy--VHS or DVD within my price range. And at last I have. I watched it within an hour of it's being delivered. I LOVE IT!!

First Dracula movie
This was the first Dracula movie I had watched when I was a kid so wanted to add it to the collection.. brings back part of my youth :-) not to frightful for beginners of Dracula movies . in my opinion

Great Dracula!
Next to Bela, Frank does a wonderful job of seducing his victims. DVD includes English subtitles and lengthy bonus discussion with the cast. Highly recommend this version of the beloved story.

In a darkened room, the count. But not Bela!
One of my favorite versions of Dracula for one reason: Frank Langella. Frank is able to play menacing and terrifying but also sympathetic. He was able to bring a new depth to the Character of Dracula. Fine performances from the ensemble cast and beautiful music round out this telling. One of my top low budget films!
