Compact and handy
It has better receiver sensitivity to Weather Band than other radios I have used. If I could not get weather alerts inside my home, it would have been just another music radio!

A better radio
It is small and fits my hand well when I carry it. It works fine. It scans for and stops on AM frequencies - - I no longer listen to the static with the program from a slightly off frequency (mis tuned) dial. I really like the battery charge display and the rechargeable battery. I suspect, from the appearance and weight, that it may be a little more resistant to damage from dropping.

Great weather tool with flashlight
It's easy to carry with you anywhere. The radio has solar usb and battery power. It works well.

Works as expected,still curious that weak AM signal capture seems to have less white noise on ER10VP than on this model, the only baseline difference
Works as expected,still curious that weak AM signal capture seems to have less white noise on ER10VP than on this model, the only baseline difference is the voltage level 4.5 volts for the ER10VP and around 3.7 volts for this ER50?
