An American sitcom, "Good Times - The Complete Series" struck a chord with audiences tackling controversial subjects in the 1970’s from a unique African-American perspective. Producer Norman Lear is credited for single-handedly altering the face of network TV with its hilariously portrayed serious issues and relatively "adult" humor in this sitcom series. Though, the series was originally aired on the CBS television network. "Good Times - The Complete Series" focused on the poor but proud Evans family, who lived in the projects on Chicago’s South Side. Humor at the core of it, this 17-disc set depicts the hardships faced by a black family living on a meager income. "Good Times - The Complete Series" also stars the then child-actress, Janet Jackson as the adopted daughter of Willona-the Evan family’s neighbor. Perfect show to binge watch every night!
