The Title fits the movie I love the song. highly recommend it even though it was 1962 when it came out
the case was real nice and the disc was good I had seen it way back when it first came out. My husband had not seen it so I got it cause it wasn't playing on any of my channels. Jack Lemon and Lee Remick Jack Klugman Charles Bickford did a good job. It portrayed Jack Lemmon as a bad alcoholic and his wife eventually becomes one too. Very heart warming and sad he really gave a great performance the greenhouse scene was to me the most dramatic part there were other parts also but to me this was one of the best parts to the movie. They do not make movies like this too much anymore It has a lot of heart Jack Lemon is one of my favorite stars. He is very versatile which made him a great actor. I especially liked him in roles like this .

Recovery from Alcoholism
Although the movie was made over 52 years ago, it's content is still true today. I'd recommend this movie to family's that have a relatives or loved one suffering from this terrible disease....the only disease that drive family's away. Contacting local support groups for non-alcoholic's like Ala-non would be helpful...I think movies like this should be free to non-profit addiction recovery programs.

Movie "days of wine and roses"
While I remember this movie, I mostly remembered the suffering alcoholism caused in my family and other's who I have known who have died from it. I bought the movie to share with a friend who is going through this right now. The impact was insightful to him. So all in all, the impact was important. People today just don't get it...you don't have to drink alcohol to have a good time at a party or where ever.

The best movie about alcoholism. Why Jack Lemmon and Lee Remick did not win Academy Awards for their work in this film never fails to amaze me.

Love is great but being an alcoholic isn't
Good movie about excess drinking of alcohol. Alcohol is beneficial to your body if taken in moderate amounts. If you overdo it, you may be a goner.

Days and Days
It's one of my favorite movies... I have watched several times before and wanted a copy of my own. it tells a true to life depiction of Alcoholism and those that struggle with addiction.

Great Movie...
I used it with my substance abuse clients at our practice in Springdale, Arkansas: Sweet Emotions Counseling. Fior an old movie, it is still relevant and hard hitting. I use it to let the client play the counselor and have them diagnose the characters. The movie is straight forward and to the point, so it works perfectly for this exercise. Kenneth W.
