Bud leaves his small town Texas home to seek a higher paying job near Houston, TX in the drama, "Urban Cowboy." Bud, played by John Travolta, plans to work in the oil refinery to save up enough money to buy his own plot of land back home. The DVD allows the viewer to follow Bud as he is introduced to many new faces at a Houston bar named Gilley's at any time. Watch as Bud meets a woman named Sissy (Debra Winger), and soon falls in love. However, the happy moments are soon challenged as their different views on gender roles threaten to pull them apart. "Urban Cowboy" was released in 1980, and featured many great country artists. The soundtrack of this drama includes musicians such as The Charlie Daniels Band, Bonnie Raitt, Kenny Rogers, and Anne Murray. The DVD also features outtakes and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage to help the viewer further connect with this film. Fan of this classic
This movie is great in sound and picture...just as i remember! Great classic country soundtrack which i also want to get as i am a fan of classic country. I would highly recommend getting the movie. If you have never seen it, you should! Great love story and awesome music.
Came in perfect playing condition. Brings back the memories of seeing it originally in the theater. Lets you see the stars when they were considerably younger.
