Best Low Cost Filter On The Market
While camping, we had to drink green scum laden water. We went down a half inch below the slime. We drank and really rehydrated ourselves. Not one person, got sick or had any stomach problems. Sure the water was warm. But it saved us from really being dehydrated.. The Life Straw Works. So much life saving, for such a reasonable small cost.

An Essential Item that Everyone should Own
I purchased the Lifestraw 2 Pack on ebay after doing research on this item. After conducting my research, I am confident this product works as stated; so, I purchased it. I believe every person should own one of these just in case - even in case of a natural disaster... Or take along on any trip. The Lifestraw is very light and takes very little room. This item is a must have along with a military can opener, a good knife, small flashlight, and a pack of waterproof matches.

You never know
This is an amazing product and its size is just right for a day pack or a glove box. Being prepared is half the battle and being able to stay hydrated in an emergency is key.

LifeStraw water purification
This is certainly a good idea and a great little device for when there are no alternatives but to use the available water for drinking. It remains in it's package, sealed and protected until I have a need to use it. Boiling water remains as the most secure means of water purification for me as this LifeStraw is too expensive to test just to see if it works. The filter inside isn't replaceable, so it begins to degrade with any use. Saved for an emergency condition to safeguard it's effectiveness.

Best water filter is fantastic
There's nothing better than a factory-made part. Especially when it comes from Kenmore. I've had nothing but great tasting water ever since I installed this filter. I think the next thing I would do is change out my clear tubing coming from my water inlet. Hopefully I can get some better water flow out of it. Other than that the filter is absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend it to everyone

SMALL COMPACT EASY TO USE
Although I haven't been camping yet. This compact purifier sure fits the bill for easy to use and easy to transport. It actually fits just about any where. Slips in those little side pockets in your pack. It takes care of all contagions and that is it's biggest feature. It is like one stop shopping. You don't need anything but this for pure drinking water. Immerse it in water source and drink....done. Easy.

A great, just in case I need it product
The Lifestraw is one of those items that I keep in my Florida Hurricane kit. If I get into that type of situation, I know I have two of them stored away with other supplies. It is there for piece of mind.

Great!
This works well and is reliable. I have used it and just feel a little nervous about other brands when my health is on the line. It fits great in any bag I use. Wouldn't go exploring without it.
