Set between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor puts players in charge of Talion, a ranger of Gondor and guardian of the Black Gate, whose family was murdered when Sauron and his armies returned to Mordor. Talion is also killed, but resurrected by a mysterious spirit and given new Wraith Powers that let him exploit the memories, habits, and personalities of foes and bend them to his will. Players then set about exacting revenge by systematically eliminating high-ranking members of Sauron's army.<br><br>Shadow of Mordor employs the Nemesis System, which ensures that high-level enemies always have unique names, appearances, strengths, and weaknesses, and the personalities of these foes are shaped in part by previous interactions with Talion. This in turn can affect the way gamers approach their missions, as the open-world nature of the game allows for bloody and direct melee combat, and players can also scale walls to get to higher ground and perform powerful ranged assaults or precision stealth attacks. Gamers can also force their minions to go on Assassinate, Terrorize, Sacrifice, or Spy missions, and success lets players upgrade the skills and weapons of both Talion and his Orc and Uruk captives.

    Super fast shipping!!! Extra care was taken with the packaging. I like the little piece of bubble wrap in the inside of the case to make sure nothing moved around in shipping. Nice touch especially if it were to have a disk in the case. Case was just as described and probably better. I would consider this near new condition as it looks like it hasn’t ever been used.     Great game but difficult

    This game is really fun and the graphics are good. But sometimes the difficulty gets a little much. You cant really kill the captains unless you decapitate them and sometimes they run away. Decapitation is random so this gets kind of tedious. But the gameplay keeps you drawn and the enemies get stronger which keeps things interesting. Makes it all the more satisfying when you take them down. The controls are easy and mechanics are similar to Arkham Knight. Great game overall.

    Nicely Dunn!

    I originally played this game when it first released on the Xbox 360 (I did not own a Xbox one at that time), and it looked amazing on that console. Controls were spot on (which is a problem in many other games), graphics are impressive, story makes sense, but the best part of all is the progressive style of gameplay that is unique for everyone! The main character levels up as you advance through the story, and this is one of the few games I've played that truly got the upgrades right! Leveling up makes sense, abilities are enhanced based on your choice of play style. As you progress the enemy (AI) adjusts to your actions to present a greater challenge. Confront a leader but lose in battle to him...run away! It's your first battle of note, escape if you can with your life barely intact, ...

    Good game but short

    This is an excellent game a little short and replay value is low once you beat the game you don’t wanna play anymore it gets to easy it seems repetitive after awhile but nonetheless first time around is an excellent game

    Top Tier Game

    Probably the the single best (most fun ) game of this gen besides Aragami. Excellent and addictive combat, great story, and nice visuals.
