Rowdy Roddy Piper ROCKS!!!
I have been a lifelong wrestling fan, and I always thought Rowdy Roddy Piper was awesome. I loved this movie the first time I saw it and I searched, fruitlessly, for YEARS (😳) trying to find it. Thankfully, eBay was my salvation! This movie is absolutely fabulous!

A must watch
More than just a cult classic. This movie has horrible acting, low budget directing, bad film editing with some ok camera work and a lame ending. The reasons to watch this movie are buried deep in the story and the underlying theme. Strongly recommend you watch and know ahead of time its not a great movie.

They don't make 'em like they used to
John Carpenter hits it out of the park yet again with an engaging and thought provoking sci-fi horror with perfect music, character development, and special effects. They don't make 'em like they used to. Carpenter maintains creative control on all his masterful works and this one is up there with The Thing, Escape from New York, and Big Trouble in Little China when it comes down to being very true to itself and it's message. Do not miss this movie - and buy it on Blu Ray! Keith David and Roddy Piper's chemistry shines. And again, the music is slammin' from start to finish. "Wake Up" embodies a sound that no other musician could capture - John Carpenter is a legend. Truly the greatest director of all time. If you don't own this, don't short change your movie collection. Classic sci-fi movie with Rowdy Roddy Piper. Arguably his best role. Roddy picks up a pair of sunglasses and sees that the world is being controlled by aliens A John Carpenter classic. Chew some bubble gum and enjoy Roddy's finest moment on the big screen.

Piper packs a Punch!
This is such an underrated film. It has an engaging story, and great characters, and is as topical today, if not more so, than its original release date. Plus, this release is so much fun with tons of extras. I highly recommend this film.

Great Movie, very nice in Blue Ray
They Live! is a cult classic and retains it's prophetic relevance today. I enjoyed seeing it in BlueRay because of the vivid color and clear picture. I recommend it to anyone with an understanding of deeper politics. Six Stars.

Great movie for thinkers.
Highly recommend. The Blu-Ray version is worth having. I am not sure how they got so much definition out of an analog film but it's a big improvement to my eyes. Guessing it was re-mastered off the original film. Enjoy.

Great older sci-fi
great older sci=fi with Rowdy Roddy Piper. It is still very entertaining. He has lots of screen charisma.
